What You’ll Do
- Recruit new buyers and suppliers through phone outreach, email campaigns, and virtual meetings
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities through consistent outbound activity
- Secure participation agreements/contracts with buyers and suppliers
- Manage clients through the Xchange process to maintain engagement and participation through the full lifecycle
- Identify buyer needs and align them with solution providers offering relevant products or services
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to drive repeat participation
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth preparation and execution of Xchanges
- Represent VerticalXchange at Xchanges and occasional industry events
What You Bring
- Experience in B2B sales, inside sales, business development, or customer-facing roles
- Strong communication skills, especially over the phone and via email
- Confidence in prospecting, cold calling, and building a pipeline
- Relationship-driven mindset with a consultative sales approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
