Job Overview
The Laborer/Helper assists mitigation technicians and lead technicians with water damage restoration and demolition work. This role is ideal for someone dependable, hardworking, and willing to learn the restoration trade. Daily work includes material handling, demolition, equipment setup, cleanup, and supporting crews on emergency response jobs. No prior restoration experience is required, but construction or labor experience is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Assist technicians with demolition, cleanup, and job setup
- Load/unload equipment and materials
- Perform basic tear-out of drywall, flooring, and insulation
- Set and retrieve drying equipment
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Take direction from lead technicians
- Drive to job sites and meet crews as needed
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Comfortable working in crawlspaces, attics, and active construction environments
- Basic tool familiarity preferred but not required
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
