Overview:
We are seeking a highly capable and strategic Warehouse Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to the efficiency and scalability of our operations, supporting the entire organizations with daily interaction with Project Managers & Technicians by optimizing procurement, inventory, and logistics workflows. We seek a proactive leader capable of driving operational improvements and implementing automated solutions to replace outdated processes.
The role is full-time, five days a week, Monday thru Friday from 8:00 AM until 5:30 PM, Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to work in a manual environment with the ability to lift 35 pounds and use ladders on a daily basis.
This manager will leverage and improve upon existing procurement, inventory, and logistics systems while actively recommending and implementing new systems to enhance efficiency. We seek a candidate with experience in automated purchasing and inventory solutions, ideally someone who can also assist the CFO with additional tasks. This person will be a critical problem solver, dedicated to enhancing the operational productivity of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, inventory and materials management.
- Ensure efficient utilization of warehouse space and resources.
- Maintain facility cleanliness and perform basic office maintenance as needed.
- Coordinate with Project Managers and Technicians to stage materials for use at project sites.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize stock levels.
- Utilize software systems to track inventory and manage warehouse operations.
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments as well as custodial responsibility for jobsites and projects.
- Collaborate with departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of products and materials.
- Maintain inventory of assets used during installations such as ladders, drop cloths & consumable parts/pieces
- Manage fleet of company vehicles to ensure scheduled maintenance, cleanliness and operating condition is maintained
- Manage and track all incoming shipments, coordinating deliveries to job sites and large equipment deliveries through moving and freight companies to ensure smooth logistical flow.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand and address logistical challenges, actively identifying opportunities to streamline workflow and enhance project efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
- Excellent communication skills both oral & written with bi-lingual Spanish proficiency a plus coupled with the ability to communicate with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory management, and materials handling.
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and related software including MS Excel.
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and supervise a team.
- Ability to maintain a solution-oriented mindset, capable of managing competing priorities effectively.
