Position Summary
Vertical Raise is seeking former NCAA athletes who are ready to bring their competitive mindset, discipline, and drive into a high-performance sales career. As an Athletic Sales Representative, you will work directly with high school athletic programs, helping them achieve their fundraising goals through our industry-leading platform.
This role is ideal for individuals who are highly self-motivated, thrive in fast-paced environments, and are looking for a financially rewarding opportunity with complete control over their schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with coaches, athletic directors, and school leaders
- Present and promote the Vertical Raise fundraising platform
- Guide teams through campaign setup, launch, and execution
- Ensure fundraising goals are met and exceeded
- Represent Vertical Raise with professionalism and integrity in your local community
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual with a background in competitive athletics and leadership. The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
- Former NCAA Athlete (4 Years required), 4-Year Letterman, and Team Captain (for example: baseball and/or football) demonstrating sustained excellence, leadership, and commitment at the collegiate level.
- Professional Athlete Experience (preferred): Brings elite-level discipline, performance under pressure, and a results-driven mindset developed through professional sports.
- Self-Motivated & Goal-Oriented: Exhibits a strong internal drive to achieve personal and team goals with a relentless pursuit of excellence.
- Results-Focused: Maintains a clear focus on performance metrics and consistently delivers high-impact outcomes.
- Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Skilled in building relationships, motivating teammates, and collaborating across diverse groups.
- Strong Understanding of Team Dynamics & Leadership: Proven ability to lead by example, foster unity, and elevate team performance.
- Bachelor’s Degree (Required): Holds a solid academic foundation that complements athletic and professional achievements.
Relevant Sports Competencies: Leadership, discipline, teamwork, performance under pressure, strategic thinking, coach-ability, competitive mindset, time management, and adaptability.
