Commercial Plumbing Mechanic
Location: DMV Region (VA / MD / DC)
Pay: Competitive hourly pay based on experience

Vertical Mechanical Group (VMG) is seeking Commercial Plumbing Mechanics to support our growing mechanical construction projects across the DMV region.
This role focuses on the installation of commercial plumbing systems on new construction and renovation projects.

Vertical Mechanical Group (VMG) is seeking Commercial Plumbing Mechanics to support our growing mechanical construction projects across the DMV region.
This role focuses on the installation of commercial plumbing systems on new construction and renovation projects.
Types of Projects
Our teams work on a variety of large commercial construction projects, including:
- Multifamily and mixed-use developments
- Universities and educational facilities
- Healthcare and medical buildings
- Office buildings and tenant fit-outs
- Hospitality and hotel projects
- Install commercial plumbing systems including domestic water, sanitary, and storm piping
- Perform rough-in, layout, and installation according to plumbing and construction drawings
- Install fixtures, valves, and piping systems
- Cut, thread, and assemble piping materials
- Maintain job site safety standards and cleanliness
- Work with Foremen and crews to meet project schedules
- Commercial plumbing installation
- Rough-in plumbing systems
- Domestic water, sanitary, and storm piping
- Reading plumbing or mechanical drawings
- Commercial construction job sites
- 2 years of commercial plumbing experience
- Ability to read and interpret plumbing or construction drawings
- Familiar with hand tools and installation equipment used in plumbing work
- Ability to work independently or as part of a crew
- Willingness to travel to project sites across the DMV region
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred
