Position Overview

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer – Construction to join our team. This role is central to ensuring the success of our projects from the earliest stages of planning through execution. The selected candidate will bring technical expertise, analytical capability, and strong organizational skills to support the development of project budgets, schedules, and design coordination.

This position requires an individual who is not only detail-oriented but also capable of contributing to strategic discussions, aligning technical planning with client objectives, and supporting seamless project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and review detailed project estimates and budgets, incorporating materials, labor, and equipment.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and design teams to evaluate scope and technical requirements.
• Analyze construction drawings, specifications, and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare preliminary schedules that align with project milestones and client expectations.
• Research and evaluate materials, equipment, and subcontractors to support cost-effective project planning.
• Contribute to value engineering efforts to optimize design and project performance.
• Provide technical insight during bidding, negotiation, and project handoff.
• Ensure clear communication and alignment with internal stakeholders and external partners throughout the project lifecycle.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in preconstruction, engineering, or project planning roles, with preference given to candidates with HVAC and plumbing expertise.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, building systems, and industry standards.
• Demonstrated proficiency in preconstruction and project management applications.
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proven ability to interpret and apply construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and with clients.
