Vertical Converting is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and highly computer-savvy recent college graduate to join our team as an Inventory Control Analyst. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who enjoys working with data, systems, and problem-solving—and wants to learn how a fast-paced manufacturing operation runs from the inside.
In this role, you will gain hands-on experience with inventory systems, logistics coordination, and procurement processes while working closely with operations and leadership. We are looking for someone with strong technical aptitude, a willingness to learn, and a drive to grow within the business.
What You’ll Do

Coordinate Shipments & Logistics
Help schedule inbound and outbound shipments while ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date. - Track & Manage Inventory
Monitor the movement of raw materials and finished goods using digital systems. Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure accuracy. - Support Quality Checks
Participate in inspections of incoming materials and outgoing products to maintain company standards. - Assist with Purchasing & Invoicing
Help manage orders for materials and supplies while learning the procurement and vendor management process. - Organize Equipment & Parts Inventory
Support tracking and organization of maintenance parts to ensure smooth facility operations. - Maintain Data Accuracy
Work within ERP/WMS systems to keep inventory records accurate and help identify and resolve discrepancies.
What We’re Looking For
- Recent College Graduate (Business, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or related field preferred)
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data analysis; Pivot Tables a plus)
- Comfortable learning new software systems and digital tools
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving ability
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Vertical Converting is a paper converting manufacturer with facilities in Frostburg and Cumberland, Maryland. We are a growing, fast-paced company focused on efficiency, innovation, and building strong operational systems. This position is a Monday - Friday position located in Frostburg, MD.
