Dynamics developer

Immediate Direct Hire opportunity for a mid/core level developer with good Dynamics Sales/Service configuration experience. A Functional developer with some technical chops would be perfect. This role offers salary plus benefits and discretionary bonus

Location/Hybrid: Tues, Wed, Thursdays onsite - Monday, Friday remote

Purpose:

The Dynamics 365 Developer is a critical member of the Dynamics Delivery team within the Retail Software Engineering organization. You will play a crucial role in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of business applications built on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality software solutions to enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and drive business growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, designers, architects, agile evangelists, and other developers, to ensure the successful delivery of products that meet business requirements and align with industry best practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be assigned.

• Configure, develop and maintain these components for dynamics delivery
• Model-driven and canvas apps
• Plugins and custom controls
• Power Platform tools including Power BI, Power Automate, Flows and others
• Unit an integration test within automation framework

Core Dynamics 365 Developer:

· Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing Dynamics 365 applications.

· Work with product owners and business analysts to understand and refine requirements.

· Implement customizations, configurations, and extensions using C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Power Platform tools.

· Perform unit testing and assist in integration and system testing.

· Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.

Required:

• Bachelor''''''''s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Curious mindset to experiment and resolve functional and technical issues.
• Strong problem-solving skills for technology-related issues and complex business scenarios.
• Must be a hardworking individual who is detail oriented, analytical, and inquisitive.
• Knowledge of C#, .NET, TypeScript, JavaScript or other programming languages.
• Experienced in working within an AGILE DevOps process management methodology.
• Ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively on teams.

Core D365 Developer: 2 years’ experience in D365 or related development environment

Preferred:

• Solid understanding of insurance business processes and industry-specific challenges.
• Proficiency in C#, JavaScript, Power Platform, and Dynamics 365 customizations.
• Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban, to deliver solutions.
