This role is central to client success and the stability of a sophisticated, institutional-grade trading platform.
You will take ownership of real-time support for live trading systems, acting as a critical first responder in high-impact trading scenarios. You will be diving into complex production challenges across order flow, market data, and exchange connectivity, rapidly diagnosing and resolving issues that directly impact live trading. The role involves working hands-on with FIX and API integrations.
Operating within Linux environments, you will investigate incidents in real time, partner closely with engineering teams to uncover root causes, and help drive lasting improvements to system performance and resilience. There is also an opportunity to design and build lightweight scripts and tools that enhance monitoring capabilities, automate repetitive processes, and elevate overall operational efficiency.
To be successful, you will need to bring at least five years of experience supporting trading systems within capital markets, alongside a strong understanding of order lifecycle, execution workflows, and market data. Hands-on experience with FIX and API-based integrations is essential as well as proficiency in Linux and ability to script in Python or Bash.
