Business Development Associate

Vertex IT Systems is seeking individuals with an Associate Degree to join us as a Business Development Associate. This role involves building strong relationships with our consultants and supporting engagement initiatives onsite in the Denver Tech Center (Greenwood Village). You’ll be a friendly face representing our company, connecting with consultants, attending meetings, and ensuring smooth coordination between teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serve as the on-site point of contact for consultants, creating and maintaining strong relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Collaborate with consultants to identify new business opportunities, leveraging their networks and referrals to expand the company’s reach.
• Track consultant milestones (e.g., birthdays, work anniversaries) and coordinate personalized engagement activities like greetings or gift cards.
• Assist with the coordination of local client meetings, events, and logistics, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
• Maintain a calendar of U.S. holidays and plan timely engagement activities to align with key moments for consultants.
• Prepare and share weekly engagement reports with management, summarizing activities, feedback, and business opportunities.
• Collaborate with HR and Operations to align engagement efforts with company goals.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate degree in Business, HR, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 1 year of proven experience in customer-facing roles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Friendly, confident, and professional demeanor.
• Presentable and comfortable engaging with people in both formal and casual settings.
• Organized, proactive, and reliable.
• Willing to work onsite in the Denver Tech Center (Greenwood Village, Colorado).

Additional Information:

• Starting salary is $60k - $70k per year.
• On-the-job training (OJT) will be provided.
• Potential performance bonus based on results.
