Position Summary

Vertex Premier Hotel Services is seeking an experienced Hotel Housekeeping Manager to support housekeeping operations at a timeshare resort in Orlando, Florida. This is a temporary assignment with the potential to become a permanent position based on business needs and performance.

The Housekeeping Manager will oversee daily operations, lead the housekeeping team, maintain quality and productivity standards, and work closely with property leadership to ensure units and public areas are cleaned and ready for guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily housekeeping operations for a high-volume timeshare resort.

• Lead, schedule, train, and support supervisors, inspectors, room attendants, house attendants, and other housekeeping team members.

• Assign daily workloads based on occupancy, arrivals, departures, and operational needs.

• Conduct room and public area inspections to ensure company and resort standards are met.

• Monitor room readiness, productivity, labor hours, attendance, and department performance.

• Coordinate with Front Office, Maintenance, Laundry, and resort leadership regarding room status and guest needs.

• Respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns and service requests.

• Support hiring, onboarding, orientation, coaching, corrective action, and performance management.

• Maintain inventory levels for linens, guest supplies, chemicals, and housekeeping equipment.

• Ensure all equipment and chemicals are used, stored, and maintained safely.

• Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and property standards.

• Complete required reports, payroll documentation, inspections, and operational updates accurately and on time.

• Assist with special projects, deep cleaning, unit recovery, and peak occupancy periods.

• Build a positive, accountable, and productive work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping management experience in a hotel, resort, or timeshare environment is required.

• Experience managing housekeeping teams and high daily room volumes.

• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage schedules, labor, productivity, inventory, and room readiness.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and guest service.

• Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions.

• Bilingual English and Spanish is preferred.

• Must have open availability, including weekends, holidays, early mornings, and evenings as needed.

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding hospitality environment.

Temporary Assignment

This position is being offered as a temporary assignment based on current operational needs. The assignment may be extended or converted into a permanent position based on performance, business needs, and position availability. Any anticipated assignment end date will be communicated in advance whenever possible.
