Put Your Warehouse Experience to Work for a Good Cause

Looking for a full-time warehouse role where your work supports the community? We’re hiring a Warehouse Associate / Order Picker to support food distribution at a nonprofit organization in Brooklyn.

If you have hands-on experience picking orders, moving pallets, stocking merchandise, or loading trucks—and experience using an electric pallet jack—we want to hear from you.

We’re looking for a dependable teammate who arrives on time, works safely, helps wherever needed, and wants to learn and grow within the organization. Forklift experience is a plus; forklift certification is not required to apply.

What You’ll Do

• Pick, pack, label, and prepare orders for distribution.
• Use an electric pallet jack to move products and pallets.
• Help load and unload deliveries and organize incoming inventory.
• Replenish picking areas and move products into storage.
• Check product quantities and report damaged or missing items.
• Assist in receiving, picking, packing, and staging as daily needs change.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Operate additional equipment only after required training and authorization.

What You’ll Need

• At least one year of recent warehouse, freight, receiving, or order-picking experience.
• Hands-on experience using an electric pallet jack.
• Availability for a full-time Monday–Friday morning schedule.
• Comfort working part of your shift in refrigerated or cold areas.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the role’s physical duties, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and work independently or with a team.
• Willingness to help in different warehouse areas and learn new tasks.

Relevant experience may come from a distribution center, retail freight or receiving department, beverage distributor, food warehouse, or similar setting.

Helpful, but Not Required

• Forklift or reach truck experience.
• Forklift certification.
• Food distribution or refrigerated warehouse experience.
• Nonprofit or community-service experience.

Why Apply?

• Full-time weekday morning schedule.
• Health insurance and life insurance.
• Meaningful work supporting food distribution to the community.
• An opportunity to build skills and take on additional responsibilities as you grow.
