What are the responsibilities and job description for the Framing Field Operations Supervisor position at Vertex Framing?
Vertex Framing is looking for a Framing Supervisor / Field Coordinator to support field operations and help keep projects running on track in the Treasure Valley. This role combines hands-on framing, crew leadership, and jobsite coordination.
Responsibilities:
Manage and train in-house crews while overseeing subcontracted crews, ensure all work is progressing per plans and schedule, perform QA/QC across different types of framing and construction, identify and correct issues before inspections, assist with pre-construction coordination and help catch plan conflicts early, coordinate project start dates and sequencing, help develop and implement standard operating procedures and systems, coordinate and pick up materials from suppliers, stay on top of material needs and lead times, assist with takeoffs and plan review, support coordination using Bluebeam Revu, meet with inspectors as needed, maintain jobsite organization, enforce safety standards, lead safety meetings, and ensure all crew members are following PPE requirements.
Qualifications:
Framing experience preferred, management or leadership experience is a plus, strong understanding of construction plans and sequencing, ability to stay organized and communicate effectively, willingness to take ownership and help improve systems and processes.
This position can also be set up as an internship for a Construction Management student or anyone in a construction-related degree program.
Pay & Benefits:
$25–$30/hour depending on experience, fuel stipend provided, phone stipend provided.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
