As a Financial Analyst, you will be the one who is responsible for supporting the financial planning and analysis of the organization. This includes, but is not limited to: annual budgets, forecasts, and monthly analysis of budget vs actuals. This is a key, strategic role and will report to the Chief Financial Officer.
Analysis
- Prepare detailed analysis of trends, budget vs. actuals, etc.
- Develop and provide proactive reporting analysis, and communication to Key Stakeholders.
- Research specific/unusual items in revenues and expenses
Projects
- Work cross-functionally with other departments to provide support in business and financial analytics.
- Assist in other finance related projects and ad-hoc analysis.
- Develop and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual dashboards for Key Stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual State budgets.
- Prepare forecasts/projections and provide management with analysis and suggestions.
Budgeting/Forecasting/Reporting
- Assist in the preparation of the annual operating and capital budgets.
Simply be yourself and be the one to succeed as the Financial Analyst with:
- a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field of study
- 5 years of experience in the field or in related fields; prior experience in education is a plus
- Experience with Workday and Cube preferred
- Advanced MS Excel (Pivot Tables, Macros, VBA, etc.) skills
- Must be able to obtain and hold a valid IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card at all times.
- Travel between campuses may be required from time to time
