Are you a IT Procurement Specialist ! This role provides critical support to the IT Procurement group, ensuring the smooth execution of purchases and contracting processes.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist the IT Procurement team with purchasing processes, including:
o Reviewing requisitions in the Novatus application to ensure all required fields are correctly completed.
o Sending purchase orders and supporting documentation to vendors.
o Communicating with requesters and vendors regarding order statuses and updates.
o Facilitating the execution of contracts by coordinating and sending documents for internal and external signatures.
• Provide administrative support for contracting activities, including:
o Maintaining the contract database in Novatus by ensuring all key contract metrics are accurately recorded.
o Communicating with the IT procurement team to provide updates on the status of contracts.
o Monitoring expiring IT contracts and notifying the IT procurement team of potential renewal tasks.
• Support the IT Procurement group with other activities as needed, such as:
o Assisting with ad hoc projects and tasks to support team objectives.
TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:
• 1 year of relevant professional experience in procurement, with some exposure to contract management preferred.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
