Summary
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team for 3 days/week (Tuesday, Thursday and Friday). The job will be 20 hours/week. In this role, you will be rooming patients, triaging patient phone calls and scheduling appointments. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining our commitment to high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and manage front desk operations efficiently.
- Room patients and obtain vital signs
- Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient records.
- Provide excellent customer service to enhance patient experience.
- Handle incoming calls and respond to inquiries promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a medical assistant role preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and office systems is a plus.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work 3 days/week, but cross cover on Monday and Wednesday as needed.
- This role may be appropriate for a college graduate who is applying to medical or graduate school and can give a 2 year commitment to the position.
