Afternoon Fitness Coach / Group Trainer
Versus Strength & Conditioning is looking for an energetic, outgoing, and professional coach to join our team.
This position is responsible for coaching group fitness classes, building relationships with members, maintaining a clean and professional facility, and helping create an exceptional experience for every person who walks through our doors.
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Some Saturdays required (approximately 5–6 per year)
- Part-time position with opportunity for growth
Responsibilities:
- Coach and lead group fitness classes
- Demonstrate and teach movement mechanics
- Provide individual coaching and movement corrections
- Ensure a safe and effective training environment
- Learn member names and build strong relationships
- Welcome and engage new members and visitors
- Create a high-energy, professional class experience
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional facility
- Take out trash and replace liners
- Mop floors and keep workout areas clean
- Clean and restock bathrooms
- Wipe down equipment and high-touch surfaces
- Assist with general facility upkeep and presentation

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous coaching, personal training, teaching, or leadership experience
- Fitness certification (NASM, ACE, NSCA, ISSA, etc.) or willingness to obtain one
- Experience coaching strength and conditioning, functional fitness, sports performance, or group training
Important:This is a coaching position, not a workout position. The right candidate will be focused on serving members, delivering great coaching, maintaining the facility, and helping create an outstanding experience for our community.
