In this role, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring products meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards. You will be working in a refrigerated food manufacturing environment.
Qaulity Control Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-operational inspections to verify equipment functionality and cleanliness of production lines.
- Perform regular checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to identify any defects, deviations, or quality issues.
- Use quality control instruments, such as luminometers, refractometers, thermometers, gas analyzers, and pH meters, to conduct assessments and ensure accurate measurements.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, industry regulations, and company standards, documenting all inspections, tests, and findings.
- Work safely in cold environments (40-50°F).
- Perform repetitive tasks and maintain a steady pace throughout the work shift.
- Report any health or safety concerns to supervisors.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 5:00am-1:30pm
Pay: $18.00/hr
Qaulity Control Requirements:
- At least one year of prior experience in quality control
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, crouching, standing, and walking for extended periods of time
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cold environment
- Consistently follows safety protocols and wears required Personal Protective Equipment
- Attention to detail, team-oriented, and good communication skills
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
