Job Summary: The Machinist supports maintenance operations by machining parts, performing preventative maintenance, and assisting with equipment repairs to ensure production efficiency.
Machinist Duties:
o Operate machine shop equipment including lathe, mill, surface grinder, and drill press
o Perform preventative maintenance and complete scheduled work orders
o Read and interpret blueprints to fabricate parts within tolerance
o Support production and engineering teams with equipment repairs and part creation
o Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Machinist Requirements:
o At least 2 years of machinist or equivalent mechanical experience
o High school diploma or GED
o Ability to read and understand blueprints
o Ability to operate machining equipment and hold tight tolerances
o Ability to obtain and maintain fork truck certification
