What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Specialist position at Verstela?
Are you a detail-oriented with a knack for organization and inventory accuracy? We're looking for an Inventory Specialist to join a major electrical distributor in California with helping support their inventory control operations.
Job duties as an Inventory Specialist:
- Manage the full lifecycle of returned merchandise, including inspection and final disposition (restock, scrap, or rework)
- Accurately log returns, update inventory systems, and process credits or chargebacks
- Coordinate with customer service, sales, warehouse teams, and vendors (including RMA requests and follow-ups) to resolve discrepancies
- Support inventory control through proper storage, stock organization, counts, and reconciliation
- Maintain clear communication with customers and uphold a clean, organized, and safe workspace
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday
- 5:00am-1:30pm
Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
Requirements as an Inventory Specialist:
- Must have 1-2 years of inventory-related experience in warehouse setting
- Able to stand, walk, bend and lift throughout entire shift
- Able to lift items weighing 0-50lbs. as needed
- Comfortable wearing PPE, including steel-toed boots
