Looking to enter the medical field, but have no medical experience? Do you have customer service experience? Are you looking for a change of pace and be part of a team that saves lives? - we provide all the training you need to become a phlebotomist in a donor setting.
Versiti Blood Health is hosting instant phone screens and interviews for qualified candidates at our Traverse City Donor Center on September 24th Between 12 PM and 3 PM. We love what we do, and we’re looking for passionate individuals to join our team!
Compensation:
- $17.36/hour for Entry Level Phlebotomist (No prior experience required!)
- shift differential evening and weekend

Phlebotomist Responsibilities:
- Excellent Customer service to our Donors
- Perform accurate medical interviewing
- Determine donor eligibility
- Perform venipunctures/draw blood
- Ensure donor and recipient safety
- Loading/unloading and event set up
- Other duties as assigned
Phlebotomist Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Open availability from 4 am - 10 pm. 8 - 10 hours per shift. Schedules provided three weeks in advance. (Monday-Friday)
- Hours are determined by blood drive schedule
- Willingness to participate in a background check that includes criminal check, education verification, employment verification, driving record and drug screen ( we do test for all substances) and a physical (50lb lift test)

- This position is a full time role, schedule is set 2-3 weeks in advance. Days are Mon-Friday but hours are always changing due to blood drives. We ask for availability between 4:00AM-10:00PM . Hours and location of blood drives change day to day and week to week. Do you understand this schedule is always changing?
