The Accounting Specialist will play a key role in supporting day-to-day accounting operations and will report directly to the VP of Finance & Accounting. This position is responsible for Accounts Receivable, billing, Accounts Payable, weekly payroll processing, cash application, bank deposits, rebills, invoicing, cash reconciliation, sales and use tax, royalty statements, credit reference requests, and providing additional accounting support as needed. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Worksite Location: Burnsville, MN – Onsite with flexibility; seeking Twin Cities–based candidates.
Salary Range: $80,000-$90,000yr. base salary.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Receivable, including billing, invoicing, cash application, and bank deposits
- Oversee Accounts Payable, ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and payments
- Process weekly payroll for all employees
- Prepare and send rebills and support various invoicing needs
- Complete daily and weekly cash reconciliations
- Assist with sales and use tax filings
- Prepare royalty statements
- Respond to and complete credit reference requests
- Provide additional accounting and administrative support as needed
- 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in AR/AP
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and customer service skills
