Experienced Automotive Mechanic
We're looking for someone who is knowledgeable, dependable, and able to diagnose and complete repairs efficiently without constant supervision. You should be comfortable working on a variety of makes and models and confident handling jobs from diagnosis through completion.
We're looking for an experienced technician who can come in, be productive, and contribute to the team from day one.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues accurately.
- Perform general automotive repairs and maintenance.
- Engine and transmission removal and replacement.
- Suspension, steering, and brake repairs.
- Cooling system repairs.
- Fluid leaks and drivability repairs.
- Perform inspections and identify needed repairs.
- Use scan tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot vehicles.
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship.
- Keep your work area and tools clean and organized.
- Communicate findings, needed parts, and repair recommendations clearly.
Qualifications
- Previous professional automotive repair experience required.
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities.
- Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable working on a variety of makes and models.
- Able to properly diagnose a problem instead of simply replacing parts.
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must take pride in the quality of your work.
- Valid driver's license required.
Preferred Skills
- Engine and transmission replacement experience.
- Electrical and drivability diagnostic experience.
- Experience using professional scan and diagnostic tools.
- ASE certifications are a plus, but not required.
