The Sales Account Manager -Ford will be based in Troy, Michigan reporting to the Ford Sales Manager. The role is responsible for managing and coordinating all commercial aspects for assigned programs including change management, establishing and strengthening customer relationships, and developing profit enhancement and growth strategies.

YOUR ROLE
The Sales Account Manager -Ford will be based in Troy, Michigan reporting to the Ford Sales Manager. The role is responsible for managing and coordinating all commercial aspects for assigned programs including change management, establishing and strengthening customer relationships, and developing profit enhancement and growth strategies.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross functional teams in preparing quotations for both new business and engineering changes
- Ensure quotations meet financial metrics; actively lead teams in ensuring quotes are accurate and meet customer timing
- Negotiate with Ford Cost Engineering and Purchasing to ensure Versigent is compensated for all customer driven costs
- Actively manage receivables to minimize past dues
- Ensure all customer rebill documentation is prepared, submitted and collected on time
- Develop and implement business pursuit plans for targeted Ford programs
- Manage appropriations request for new programs and model year changes to ensure capital funds are available to meet program timing
- Lead commercial discussions for annual business plan targets
- Actively manage and drive cost reduction initiatives for assigned programs
- Ensure compliance with customer specific requirements
- Bachelor´s degree in Engineering or Finance or equivalent experience; Master´s degree preferred
- Minimum of five years of Sales/Finance/ Engineering experience in automotive
- Leadership and negotiation skills
- Experience in automotive wire harness operations preferred
- Knowledge of SAP preferred
- Spanish language fluency preferred
- Ability to travel 10-20%
- Ability to work onsite in Troy, MI and at the customer as needed
- Must be legally able to work in the United States without requirement of any type of visa sponsorship or transfer now, or at any time in the future
