Role/Situation Overview:
This leader will report to the COO of Verse Chocolate and have direct responsibility for growth across E-Commerce & partner with Sales for growth in Retail channels as well as have input on the go forward brand strategy.
You will influence what the go forward marketing team should look like for the company to deliver on its growth ambition.
Critical Outcomes/Deliverables:
- Continue and accelerate growth across E-Commerce channels (Amazon, Shopify and Tik Tok) by partnering and providing strategic and tactical leadership with outside agencies.
- Drive velocity at retail partners (natural and conventional customers) via implementing a combination of in store trial drivers, shopper marketing and awareness programs in a cost-effective manner.
- Link the go forward brand strategy and positioning to all consumer/customer touch points so the brand has a cohesive message and verbal/visual identity. Examples include packaging, website, & sales presentations.
Desired Experience/Competencies:
- Direct recent experience scaling an emerging CPG brand across E-Commerce as well as increasing velocity in retail partners.
- Combination of analytical (highly comfortable with data), results driven and general manager mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Highly collaborative and proven ability to get work done in a timely manner while partnering cross functionally across the organization (Sales, Operations and Finance).
- Ability to navigate between high level strategy and tactical execution.
- Experience balancing growing revenue and profitability with brand building activities across social, e-commerce, and retail channels. Be able to effectively manage and communicate key success metrics across initiatives.
Travel and Compensation
- Frequent travel to Springfield, MO will be required.
