A day in this roleYou start your morning by scanning your Salesforce pipeline, following up on the previous day’s conversations, and refining a list of new prospects. Before lunch, you’re on the phone with distributors and retailers, walking them through Versatrim’s flooring trim solutions, scheduling a quick product demo, and arranging samples. In the afternoon, you compile a succinct update for the Inside Sales Manager, jump into the call queue to support incoming inquiries, and close the day by logging activities and planning tomorrow’s outreach.What you'll doSource, research, and cultivate new B2B leads across flooring, trim, and building product channelsOwn day-to-day management of assigned accounts and nurture long-term customer relationshipsProcess orders and samples; resolve customer questions by phone and emailCreate and submit weekly opportunity and project reports to the Inside Sales ManagerParticipate in call queues and assist teammates to ensure timely responsesDeliver product trainings and presentations for assigned accounts as neededDocument every touchpoint in Salesforce and keep account data accurate and currentQualify new customers and coordinate cross-functionally to optimize sales effortsDevelop deep expertise in Versatrim’s catalog and competitive landscapeSupport off-site trainings or shows as needed (expenses paid)Cross-train to support any customer when neededAchieve or surpass sales targets and key performance indicatorsWhat you bringSelf-motivation, strong attention to detail, and a strategic, creative mindsetAbility to follow directions while exercising sound judgmentExperience in flooring/trim or broader building products sales preferredBackground in account management and developmentClear written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookComfort working in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to learn new processes and support other departmentsExcellent relationship-building skillsBaseline qualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentReliable transportation18 years of age or olderPrior sales experience is a plusRequirementsMust be legally authorized to work within the USCompensation and benefitsPaid training with uncapped commission opportunityEmployer-paid life insurance and short disabilityComprehensive Health, Dental, Vision, and Critical Illness coverage401(k) with company matchPaid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidaysFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Referral bonus programTools you'll useSalesforce for activity tracking, pipeline management, and reportingPhone and email for responsive customer supportYou should be proficient in: Business-to-Business (B2B), Inside Sales.
