Director of Marketing

Versatile High-Performance Coatings is seeking a results-driven Director of Marketing to lead the full marketing function, with a primary focus on revenue growth, new customer acquisition, and performance optimization across all channels.

You will lead the marketing function—paid media, ecommerce, email, social, and content—with clear accountability for revenue performance. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can both execute and build strategy in a fast-moving, owner-led environment.

This role reports directly to the President.

Key Responsibilities

·      Own and execute a full-funnel marketing strategy focused on acquisition and retention

·      Lead paid media (Google, Meta, B2B channels) with direct ROAS accountability

·      Manage and optimize e-commerce website performance and conversion rates

·      Build and scale email marketing and lifecycle campaigns

·      Oversee social media and content strategy tied to measurable outcomes

·      Partner with Sales and Operations on launches, pricing, and promotions

·      Own and optimize the marketing budget for maximum return

·      Deliver weekly performance reporting with clear action plans

·      Lead, develop, and manage a high-performing marketing team

·      Events and Tradeshows

What You Bring

·      Proven success in marketing in B2B ecommerce environments

·      Strong hands-on experience with paid media (Google Ads, Meta) and ROAS ownership

·      Expertise in email marketing, CRM, and lifecycle campaigns (HubSpot preferred)

·      Experience managing and developing marketing teams

·      Strong analytical mindset—able to interpret data and make decisive calls

·      Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

·      Experience marketing to contractors, trades, or dealer networks is a plus

Qualifications

·      5 to 7 years of progressive marketing experience

·      2 years with revenue ownership

·      2 years of team leadership experience

·      Strong expertise in paid media, email marketing, and e-commerce

·      Proficiency in Google Ads, Meta, HubSpot/MailChimp, and Google Analytics

·      Highly analytical with strong decision-making skills

·      E-commerce experience required

·      Experience in contractor, trade, or dealer markets is a plus
