The coordinator plays a key role in supporting the CNBC global communications team with administrative and operational responsibilities. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Global Communications, the position will be based in CNBC’s headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey.

Job Description
The coordinator plays a key role in supporting the CNBC global communications team with administrative and operational responsibilities. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Global Communications, the position will be based in CNBC’s headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the drafting and distribution of press releases, media alerts, talent bios, fact sheets, social media posts and other communications materials, as needed.
- Track media, digital and social coverage of the network, compile reports for team and network leadership
- Research media outlets and digital platforms to better identify coverage opportunities and trends.
- Support the production and distribution of CNBC internal communications, including town halls, executive memos and newsletters
- Write and distribute program listings Develop and maintain distribution lists and shared calendars, regularly update media lists to ensure timely communication and accurate distribution
- Support the SVP of Communications with calendar management, booking travel and meeting coordination
- Perform general administration duties supporting the CNBC communications team, including managing departments expenses, organizing shared files, and event logistics.
- Support tracking and planning for network speaking engagements and event participation.
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1 year(s) experience in publicity/communications, journalism, marketing or related industry
- 1 year(s) experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage numerous projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Resourceful problem-solver Creative and strategic thinker
- Understanding of the media landscape and business news, including experience with social media.
- Team player with a proactive, collaborative approach
- Discretion and ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey office a minimum of three days per week.
- This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks. Salary range: $50,000 - $60,000
