What are we looking for?
The Software Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for ensuring existing and future products meet the quality standards of both internal and external customers by implementing effective QA testing practices and tools and supporting the development team to improve code quality. Analyze findings, report results and make suggestions on process improvements. In addition, engage in the department and/or corporate projects, as necessary and assigned, to ensure that the work performed in these functional areas is accurate and complete

What are we looking for?

Where you will have an impact
- Participate in functional requirement and technical design discussions to plan and collect information for test development
- Develop Test Approach, Test Plan, Test Schedule, Test Scenarios, and Test Cases based on requirements.
- Perform QA activities including functional, regression, integration, and data validation testing (manual and automated) for ETL processes and reporting solutions.
- Write and execute complex SQL queries for data verification, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
- Prepare and maintain test data sets for ETL and reporting validation.
- Validate reporting outputs in tools such as Power BI and Business Objects to ensure accuracy, proper formatting, and compliance with business requirements.
- Capture Test Results in Test Management Tool.
- Provide test execution summary/update to test lead.
- Participate in project status calls and other project discussions.
- Manage the defect management process during the testing phase/effort. Document issues/defects found in Defect Management Tool.
- Adhere to privacy, confidential and proprietary company policies and procedures (i.e. HIPAA)
- Participate in any/all training and educational activities necessary to fulfill at least the minimum requirements as specified within your departmental goals. This is in addition to the completion of any activities necessary for the maintenance of professional affiliations or organizational requirements
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- 3 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on data integration (ETL) and reporting solutions.
- Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing life cycle (STLC).
- Ability to effectively communicate (oral and written) cross departmentally
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and with department teams in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities within established deadlines with a high attention to detail
- Knowledge and experience in the insurance, health, or vision care industry preferred
- Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries for data validation and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Informatica PowerCenter and/or SSIS for data integration testing.
- Strong understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and reporting frameworks (Power BI).
- Proficiency in MicroSoft Office.
- Hands on experience in Tools like: JIRA, SharePoint, ALM, Test Rail, Selenium with C#, Postman,PL/SQL Developer etc.
