What are we looking for?
Develop and maintain strong external and internal relationships to achieve maximum provider satisfaction and network maintenance goals for existing key providers in assigned regions. Manage retention of key provider groups in assigned regions to achieve individual and corporate goals. Provide escalated, high-priority issue resolution support to Versant (Superior and Davis Vision) provider offices to ensure maintenance and coherence of the vision program. Educate and inform network providers and staff of all aspects of Versant Health products and services. Support all projects and initiatives that directly impact provider satisfaction.

Where you will have an impact
Provider Retention
- Emphasis on retention through personalized service, and in-person visits (when this approach can be most effective)
- Work with key, high-priority provider practices to resolve complaints and claims issues with a focus on threat to termination scenarios
- Identify and focus retention efforts on controllable terminations in high-profile areas or sensitive markets
- Support fee schedule negotiations with existing key vision providers in accordance with corporate goals and standards as required with a focus on providers that may have a high level of business impact if terminated
- Support retention projects as assigned by region to achieve targeted network maintenance goals
- Maintain department reporting including provider inquiry/resolution tickets & provider engagement tracking
- Communicate effectively, consistently, and frequently with providers to address evolving needs
- Provide education for key Versant provider programs and initiatives
- Increase Versant (Superior and Davis Vision) provider engagement via communication tools such as Provider Resource Center (PRC), webinars, etc
- Support provider communications to include provider newsletter timelines & coordinate content in collaboration with internal partners
- Act as SMEs on navigation and use of the Provider Portal with a focus on fixes and enhancements
- Continuously work to improve customer loyalty using solution based ideas
- Gather data from CS, Complaints and appeals & other internal partners to help support root cause analysis and drive global solutions
- Drop-in Office visits, gather data face to face for key ECP/ high profiled ECPs
- Support department initiatives to measure provider satisfaction
- Focus on projects designed to improve provider experience (portal design/functionality, EOP’s, global claims and configuration issues, provider education, simplification of processes)
- Understand market issues and needs specific to assigned regions
- Facilitate improvements and resolution of issues facing those regions or plans
- Manage opportunities to meet face to face with providers and other industry leaders to strengthen relations at national, regional & state conferences
- PFCs to be the point of contact for support for escalated issues for VIP ECPs associated with Partnerships & Associations
- Execute live & virtual presence at national/state level events
- Identify key leaders and build retain relationships
- Support relationship building and outreach initiatives to Optometric Associations in each region
- Site visit Meetings with optometric groups/large groups
- Additional responsibilities as necessary
- Preferred Bachelor degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or related field or equivalent combination or experience and education
- Minimum of One (1) year of outside sales/merchandising experience preferred
- Experience in Healthcare Administration, Managed Care and/or Provider
- Proficiency in MicroSoft Office
