What are we looking for?
The IT Product Owner will lead and manage technical integrations for Versant Health’s Online Retailer partners, ensuring seamless implementation and ongoing support for API-based solutions. This role bridges business needs and technical execution, providing coordination, guidance, and expertise throughout the lifecycle of retailer integrations and support post implementation. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and experience in managing API-driven projects.
Where you will have an impact
Lead and attend weekly retailer meetings to address technical questions and integration progress.
Provide timely responses to retailer inquiries and troubleshoot API-related issues.
Manage ongoing support for existing retailer integrations.
Investigate and resolve API errors using tools like Postman and SQL queries.
Analyze JSON responses and validate benefit configurations across core systems.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure readiness for testing and implementation.
Facilitate communication between business areas and IT to maintain timelines and testing start dates.
Deliver onboarding packages including API credentials, endpoints, guides, sample JSON, and test member data.
Ensure test coverage across multiple platforms and plan types.
Maintain all Online Retailer related documentation.
What’s necessary to do the job?
Preferred bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of experience and education
Preferred Technical Degree
Minimum two (2) years of experience with technology product development / product ownership preferred
Minimum five (5) years of experience in healthcare IT settings preferred
Knowledge and experience in the insurance, health, or vision care industry preferred
Experience as a Product Owner in an agile software development environment preferred
Scrum Master, SaFe Agilist certifications is a plus
Prior experience with systems/process integration in healthcare industry
