Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care to residents, including assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility

• Monitor and report changes in residents’ health, behavior, or condition to nursing staff

• Assist residents with meals and ensure proper hydration and nutrition

• Support residents in maintaining independence and dignity in daily living activities

• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and observations made

• Work collaboratively with nurses and other staff to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care

• Create a warm, supportive, and compassionate environment for residents and their families

• Follow infection control protocols and safety standards at all times

Qualifications:

• Current State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA) certification in Ohio required

• Previous experience in long-term care or a healthcare setting preferred, but not required

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing excellent care

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Reliable, dependable, and flexible with scheduling (including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed)

RESPONSIBILITIES OF A STNA:

• To care and provide for assigned residents with daily routine nursing care under the direction of the Charged Nurse, RN/LPN

• Perform all duties in accordance with facility, federal and state standards.

QUALIFICATIONS OF A STNA:

• Must have an up to date STNA license.
