Apprentice Pest Control Technician

Versa-Tech Pest Management, INC. is looking to hire its next Route Manager Apprentice. NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. We want to train you. Candidates who have less than 2 years experience and a valid Applicators or Branch 2 license helps, but NOT required. This position will train you as an apprentice at service locations, riding along with management for between 6-18 months or more and has varying daily start and end times from between to about 5-7AM to ending 3-7PM Monday - Friday, Saturdays are possible, depending on service needs. Overtime will be needed. Company phone, email, truck and uniform are provided after 90-day probation period. Company vehicle will be determined as training progresses. A good candidate is very trustworthy, mature, reliable, dedicated, focused, hardworking, ok with crawl spaces and attics, ladders and heights. Someone who likes to work outdoors, can follow a set service plan each day, great client service skills, well groomed, good verbal and written communication skills, knowledge of basic had tools, ok working on ladders, very positive attitude, clean and neat, and able to work on your own. A person with great common sense and good character and ethical values. We are looking for a solid and dedicated team member to work with us over the coming years to grow our company and grow with us professionally and personally. Responsibilities

• Assist in pest control operations by identifying pest issues and applying appropriate treatments under supervision.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their pest control needs and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Learn and adhere to safety protocols and regulations related to pest control.
• Participate in training sessions to obtain a Pest Control License and enhance skills in pest management and sales.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in pest control and willingness to learn
• Excellent communication and client service skills
• Basic knowledge of lawn care, farming, and landscaping preferred
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Sales experience is a plus, but not required
• Pest Control License will be obtained during apprenticeship

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
