General Purpose: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Helpdesk position to join our team. As an IT Helpdesk, you will be responsible for researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving issues in an accurate and timely manner. Supporting various projects and data analysis within a manufacturing environment. This person will be required to work with software and hardware equipment and troubleshoot various equipment as applicable.
Responsibilities:
- Follow through on printer, password, tablets, TVs, computers, and internet set up and/or troubleshooting
- Organize and maintain technical equipment to keep active inventory
- Collaborate with TtechT on employee tickets and troubleshooting
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and trends
- Help problem solve issues and suggest ways of improvements
- Coordinate schedules with employees and IT to work on resolving issues and improvements.
- Approve billing/quoting for specific technical needs within the organization.
- Safely assist in projects such as conducting server decommissioning as needed within the organization
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding employees related to the technical aspects and user needs.
- Stay up to date on cyber security updates and trainings. Follows up with anyone that is not staying up to date.
- Carry out daily operational tasks in an effective and timely manner
- Organize, file and maintain project documents as applicable
- Collect and analyze data from various sources
- Participates in and demonstrates an understanding of safety principles and practices; follow all safety policies and procedures to support a safe working environment, including safe operation of machines and equipment
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Technical Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or other related field- Associates or higher preferred. Will consider someone working towards a degree in the above fields
- Advanced computer skills/IT savvy
