Responsibilities:
- Trademark & Copyright: Manage filings, renewals, and portfolio protection.
- Licensing & Agreements: Draft and negotiate IP and branding contracts.
- Brand Protection: Advise on marketing, advertising, and digital media compliance.
- Enforcement & Disputes: Handle infringement risks and support enforcement actions.
- Due Diligence: Conduct IP review for transactions and partnerships.
- Collaboration: Align IP strategy with creative, marketing, and business teams.
- Industry Monitoring: Track trends, competitor activity, and legal developments.
Candidate Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in intellectual property law, focusing on trademark, copyright, branding, or licensing.
- Proven experience drafting, negotiating, and managing IP agreements and licenses.
- Strong knowledge of brand protection, advertising, marketing, and digital media law.
- Experience with IP enforcement, infringement analysis, and dispute resolution.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and client counseling skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and portfolios in a fast-paced environment.
- JD from an accredited law school and admission to the California Bar.
