Verrill is actively seeking a Construction Litigation Associate to join our Litigation Practice Group in Portland, Maine. Verrill's Construction Group is a dynamic team committed to delivering timely, cost-effective results for owners, contractors, construction managers, sureties, subcontractors and design professionals in the design and construction industries. The group's construction practice is both regional and national in scope. The attorneys in the group are devoted to working closely with clients throughout the litigation process to resolve complex legal issues while providing the highest quality of service.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three (3) years of construction litigation experience and must be admitted to the Maine Bar or able to obtain admission. Relocation to the area is required when applicable. Experience with drafting and negotiating construction and design/engineering contracts is highly desirable. Exceptional research, writing, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
