Role Description
This full-time Engineer role is a hybrid position based in Sulphur, LA, with the flexibility to perform some work from home. The Engineer will support the design and analysis of structural systems, heavy equipment, and industrial components using engineering principles, computational tools, and modeling techniques. While the daily scope is highly focused on specialized industrial applications, the Engineer will also occasionally lend their expertise to more traditional structural design as project demands naturally ebb and flow. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing calculations and technical drawings, reviewing project specifications, and collaborating with team members to develop safe, efficient, and cost-effective solutions. The role involves assisting with project planning, coordinating with clients and stakeholders, and documenting engineering decisions in reports and design packages. The Engineer will also help refine internal processes, support engineering software development initiatives, and contribute to continuous improvement in safety and operability standards.
