'We are seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to join our team. The successful candidate will contribute to the advoicacy of injured persons through personal injury litigation.
Responsibilities
' Handle a diverse caseload involving various types of personal injury litigation matters.
- Conduct legal research using LexisNexis to support case strategies.
- Draft legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence with precision.
- Conduct trial preparation and client consultations.
- Manage case files and maintain accurate records.
- Negotiate settlements with opposing parties.
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting client cases.
- Collaborate effectively within the legal team to achieve favorable outcomes.'
- Qualifications
' Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the New York State bar.
- Strong negotiation skills and litigation experience.
- Proficiency in legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
- Excellent writing, drafting, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
- Prior experience in personal injury or workers’ compensation law is preferred.
- Legal administrative experience is a plus but not required.'
