This hands-on role directly supports our ability to deliver resilient, cost-effective housing at scale while upholding the highest standards of safety and quality.

Job Summary
The Framing Specialist will construct precise, durable wall, floor, and roof assemblies that form the structural backbone of VeroTouch homes. This hands-on role directly supports our ability to deliver resilient, cost-effective housing at scale while upholding the highest standards of safety and quality.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Framing Operations
- Layout, cut, assemble, and install wood and light-gauge steel framing for walls, floors, partitions, and roof systems in accordance with engineered drawings and VeroTouch standards.
- Safely erect and brace wall panels, floor cassettes, and roof trusses, ensuring plumb, level, and square tolerances.
- Install sheathing, blocking, backing, and temporary bracing required for structural integrity.
- Work closely with concrete, mechanical, and finish crews to maintain daily production schedules.
- Identify and immediately communicate field conditions that affect structural performance or downstream trades.
- Participate in daily huddles and weekly coordination meetings to sustain momentum and drive continuous improvement.
- Strictly adhere to VeroTouch safety protocols, including proper PPE, fall protection, and safe operation of power tools and lifts.
- Perform quality checks throughout the framing process and correct deficiencies on the spot to eliminate rework.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and an organized job site; perform minor repairs and routine maintenance on framing tools and scaffolding.
Education
- A proven work ethic and commitment to continuous learning—attributes that deliver results beyond traditional education (required).
- Vocational training or certification in carpentry/framing (preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of production framing experience on residential or commercial projects (required).
- Experience with panelized construction or advanced framing techniques (strongly preferred).
- Expert proficiency with framing tools (circular saw, framing nailer, laser level, etc.) and ability to read and interpret complex structural drawings.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and ownership of personal and team safety outcomes.
- Physical capability to work at heights, lift 80 lbs repeatedly, and perform demanding tasks in all weather conditions.
- Strong collaborative mindset with clear, candid communication.
- Owner-driven approach: treats every home as if it were your own and takes full responsibility for quality and schedule.
- 10 Days of PTO (combined paid leave and sick leave).
