About The Position

The Remarketing Operations Specialist (Transport) will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring the successful transportation of repossessed vehicle inventory to/from auction.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Properly document account information including but not limited to redemptions, legal sale date, title status, holds, and general remarketing updates.
• Manage repossessed inventory to ensure that vehicles are transported and completed in a manner consistent with department requirements.
• Investigate and resolve transportation delays.
• Ensure that the auction produces a condition report and pictures on all stocked vehicles.
• Review vehicles for damages in order to file an insurance claim.
• Responsible for maintaining and updating the database with current vehicle location.
• Work with internal staff to coordinate transportation of vehicles back to originating dealers.
• Review and process all auto auction and repossession invoices to ensure that expenses are consistent with approved budgets.
• Review accounts for factory build discrepancies.
• Facilitate open communication between the auction, vendors, and employees to ensure efficiencies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Essential Requirements:

• Preferred Remarketing experience in the auto finance industry (non-prime or sub-prime).
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with others in a professional, tactful, and sensitive manner.
• Detail oriented and organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
• Familiar with Auto IMS, IAA CSA Today, Copart, and RDN.
• Available to work a flexible schedule and some Saturdays.

Salary: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour.
