The Aftermarket Product Cancellation Specialist will be responsible for managing aspects of the aftermarket ancillary product cancellation process upon voluntary or involuntary payoff of Veros Credit loans. This position will research and work closely with Dealerships, After Market Providers, and other internal departments to investigate and remedy outstanding ancillary refunds owed to customers.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain business relationships with existing dealers and customers.
- Responsible for communicating with Dealer Marketing Managers, Regional Managers and Dealer partners to resolve outstanding ancillary product cancellations.
- Routinely communicates with Finance Managers, dealerships, Regional Managers and accurately tracks, follows up and performs regular action plans to resolve outstanding product cancellations.
- Coordinate with dealer partners and providers for prompt collection of refunds owed to customers.
- Assist dealer partners and providers in devising a strategy to expedite the amounts owed and work closely with management on all aspects of the refund/rebate process.
- Update account information in accordance with established procedures and security guidelines and perform accurate account documentation.
- Follow and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Preferred 1 year(s) of experience in the customer service and/or collections field, preferably in the subprime auto finance industry.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective organizational skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.
- Ability to read, interpret and apply federal, state and local collections regulations.
- Ability to interact with others in a professional, tactful and sensitive manner.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and to work independently and as part of a team.
