Duties
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients with meticulous attention to quality and consistency
- Use knife skills and food handling techniques to portion ingredients accurately and efficiently
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain cleanliness standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Assemble pizzas according to menu specifications, ensuring presentation meets high standards
- Assist with menu planning by suggesting new toppings or specialty pizzas to enhance customer offerings
- Support food service operations by managing multiple orders during peak hours with speed and accuracy
- Maintain inventory levels of ingredients, restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen workflow
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or a restaurant environment is highly preferred
- Knowledge of dietary department standards and dietary aide experience is a plus for accommodating special dietary needs
- Demonstrated skills in culinary techniques, including knife handling and meal preparation
- Familiarity with food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures in the food industry
