Job Description:
We are looking for a friendly and dependable Part-Time Cashier to join our team. As a cashier, you will provide excellent customer service, accurately process transactions, and maintain a clean and organized checkout area. If you enjoy working with people, have attention to detail, and are looking for a flexible work schedule, we would love to meet you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the cash register and handle cash, credit, and debit transactions
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Ensure accurate pricing and scanning of items
- Bag groceries and assist with carrying items when needed
- Keep the checkout area clean and organized
- Resolve customer concerns or direct them to the appropriate department
- Adhere to store policies and procedures, including those related to safety and cleanliness
Requirements:
- Previous cashier or retail experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and basic math skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts (3 per week), including evenings and weekends
- Primary shifts are M-F (3:00 PM -7:00 PM), SAT (7:00 AM - 1:00 PM) (1:00 PM - 7:00 PM,) SUN (7:00 AM - 2:00 PM)
