What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Journeyman Electrician position at Veron Electric & Builders?
Our company is a growing commercial electrical contractor looking for an experienced electricians who take pride in quality workmanship, shows up on time, and wants to be part of a tight-knit team. We aren't a huge corporation—you won't be just another number here.
We specialize in commercial tenant improvements, office buildings, lighting controls, data infrastructure, service work, and specialty electrical projects throughout the Wasatch Front.
What You'll Do
- Commercial tenant improvement projects
- Install conduit (EMT, rigid, PVC)
- Pull and terminate conductors
- Install lighting, lighting controls, power distribution, and devices
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Troubleshoot electrical systems
- Work independently or lead a small crew
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional jobsite
- Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and coworkers
Qualifications
- 3 years commercial experience preferred
- Ability to bend conduit by hand and with mechanical benders
- Experience reading plans and specifications
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
