FP&A ANALYSTDepartment: Operational Finance Reports To: Director, FP&A Location: Denver, CO preferred; fully remoteExperience Level: 2-4 YearsPOSITION SUMMARYWe are seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our finance team. This role will support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis, helping to provide insights into business performance. The FP&A Analyst will work closely with team members across departments to inform financial planning and strategic decision-making.RESPONSIBILITIESFinancial Planning & AnalysisPrepare monthly financial variance reports to forecast and budget, including P&L analysis, month-over-month trends, and written commentary on key drivers.Assist in building and maintaining financial forecasts and support the annual budgeting process.Analyze revenue, costs, and operational performance to identify trends and highlight key insights.Support scenario modeling to evaluate the financial impact of business initiatives and changes.Reporting & Business SupportDevelop and maintain recurring and ad hoc financial reports for key stakeholders.Assist in preparing materials for internal leadership meetings and board presentations.Work with business unit leaders to understand performance drivers and improve forecast accuracy.Capital and Operational TrackingMonitor capital expenditures and compare against budgeted allocations.Support tracking of key financial and operational metrics across markets and teams.Help maintain visibility into financial results related to strategic initiatives and growth plans.Ad Hoc ProjectsConduct financial analysis to support market expansions, cost evaluations, or other business initiatives.Assist with special projects that drive business insights, process improvements, or strategic planning efforts.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.2–4 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or accounting.Strong proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and basic financial modeling.Solid understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting.Analytical mindset with good communication and collaboration skills.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is a plus.Familiarity with telecom, infrastructure, or capital-intensive industries is helpful but not required.JOB DETAILS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThis role requires occasional travel up to 10% of the time for activities such as out-of-town meetings, training, or outreach activities.Must be authorized to work in the United States.This is a staff position.This is an Exempt position.This is a Full-Time position.This is a Remote position.The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday with occasional weekend availability as needed to fulfill the core duties of the role.This position requires the ability to sit and work at a desk for extended periods of time, using a computer and other office equipment.This position requires the ability to perform fine motor tasks, such as typing or using a mouse, for extended period of time.COMPENSATION AND BENEFITSBase pay is paid at an annual salary rate.
