Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Countertop Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw materials into high-quality countertops that meet precise specifications. Your expertise in fabrication, use of hand and power tools, and adherence to safety standards will ensure the production of durable, aesthetically pleasing surfaces for a variety of clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and contribute to the creation of beautiful, functional spaces.
Duties
- Measure and interpret blueprint specifications accurately to cut and shape materials accordingly
- Operate various hand tools, power tools, and machinery for cutting, shaping, polishing, and finishing stone or composite surfaces
- Handle materials safely using proper lifting techniques and materials handling procedures
- Use tape measures and other measuring devices to ensure precise dimensional measurements
- Follow safety protocols including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Perform stone finishing and polishing to achieve desired surface quality and aesthetic appeal
- Assemble fabricated components according to design specifications and quality standards
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, equipment, and materials efficiently
- Adhere strictly to safety regulations during all phases of fabrication and assembly processes
Qualifications
- Prior experience in fabrication, manufacturing, construction, or a related field is highly preferred
- Mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment (CNC Machine)
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations
- Experience with blueprint reading and following detailed fabrication instructions
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during shifts
- Familiarity with stone finishing, polishing techniques, and materials handling processes is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills to ensure quality craftsmanship
