Overview:
Join a growing Internal Audit team where you'll gain exposure to internal controls, compliance, risk management, investigations, and process improvement initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with leadership, collaborate across multiple business functions, and contribute to projects that strengthen operational effectiveness and regulatory compliance. What You'll Do:
- Support compliance with corporate governance rules and regulations, including the SOX
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and Internal Audit processes.
- Work with Internal Audit leadership to maintain accurate and current narrative and COSO documentation.
- Perform SOX Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting testing and document results for management review.
- Ensure SOX documentation remains accurate and sufficient throughout the fiscal year.
- Assist Internal Audit leadership with Direct Line investigations.
- Analyze new regulatory and control requirements.
- Help develop audit programs for new regulatory and control requirements.
What Experience You'll Have:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Ability to understand and analyze data, particularly financial data.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with all levels of an organization and external parties.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive business matters.
- Ability to learn new tasks, take on additional responsibilities, and travel infrequently when necessary.
What Experience is Nice to Have:
- Accounting degree.
- CPA or CIA.
- Experience with SOX, internal controls, or audit documentation.
