The Opportunity

We're hunting for elite sales talent in the Columbus market to step in as a Business Development Manager. This is a new-business-hunting, relationship-building, deal-closing role — and you'll have a stacked recruiting team behind you turning your wins into delivered results. If you love opening doors that others can't, building trust with the people who sign the checks, and watching your effort convert directly into commission, keep reading.

What You'll Do

• Hunt new client wins and grow existing accounts through aggressive, strategic business development
• Build real relationships with hiring managers and executive decision makers — the kind that outlast a single deal
• Lead consultative conversations that uncover what clients actually need to win
• Partner tightly with recruiters to deliver talent that makes you look good
• Network relentlessly and turn referrals into your competitive edge
• Show up for sales training, team meetings, and company all-hands — because winners sharpen their game
• Travel occasionally to the Cincinnati office for training and team collaboration
• Live the Vernovis fundamentals and social covenant — on your best day and your toughest one

• Full time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Grandview, Ohio — a beautiful office built for people who love where they work, full workout facility and great cafeteria on site

• Experience in business development, sales, staffing, or related field preferred
• A consultative closer who builds trust fast and never stops relationship-building

• Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission — your ceiling is whatever you're willing to build

Pay: $60K–$100K salary Uncapped commission per annum High performers earn 250K -450K. Full commission option for even higher earning opportunity.
