Position: Cafeteria Manager - Northeast School
Description: The Administration is seeking a person qualified by education and experience to carry out the duties assigned to the position and in general, to establish and maintain a high level of standards of excellence in the Vernon Public Schools.
Requirements: High school diploma, and at least 2 years Food Service experience required. Management experience preferred. ServSafe Certification required prior to starting.
Salary: $24.05/hour
Hours: 7AM - 2PM Monday - Friday
Start date: As soon as possible

Essential Job Functions:
- Manage 2 other kitchen employees
- Prepare and serve quality food to students
- Maintain proper documentation necessary for local and state Boards of Health
- Maintain proper documentation of all food, material, and equipment inventory
- Adhere to all sanitary standards in both work and attire
- Adhere to school district menu as set by Food & Nutrition Director
- Order all food, supplies, and materials needed for the program
- Adhere to all standardize recipes
- Assign kitchen personnel to various duties and move as needed
- Run cash register, close cash drawer, provide total cash and meal count as required
- Assist in daily cleaning of all kitchen equipment
