What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Business Partner position at Vernon Memorial Healthcare?
We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Human Resources Business Partner to join our healthcare team. As a key partner to the leadership team the HRBP will support the full spectrum of recruitment and talent initiatives, oversee the compensation program, facilitate leadership coaching, workforce planning, employee relations & employee experience, influence organizational strategy and help shape a culture of excellence.
This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional with at least 5 years of progressive Human Resource experience, preferably in a healthcare setting Experience with HRIS systems (UKG or Kronos) and SHRM certification strongly preferred. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience required.
Successful candidate must have knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational development, employee relations, diversity, performance management, federal and state employment laws and a passion for developing both new and existing leaders.
While this is a growth-focused position, it does not include direct reports, making it perfect for someone who thrives on collaboration and impact without formal management responsibilities.
